About Me
My coaching and consulting is grounded in over a decade of experience in community organizing and social movement campaigning. Many of my formative moments as an organizer and campaigner were spent at IfNotNow where I worked for over 5 years as a Field Organizer, and the first Organizing Director. During that time I sharpened my skills in distributed campaigning, building scalable trainings, network management, and team building.
Since then, I have been providing leadership and campaign coaching for different movement organizations working on issues from climate change to student debt to housing. I work with organizational leaders to:
develop or upgrade training curriculum, participant management systems, and leadership pathways
design organizing campaigns to create, shape, and maintain your base (and your power)
build transformative programs that develop the leadership of both participants and trainers.
I deeply believe that the leaders taking the most responsibility for making the bold shifts we need deserve quality and holistic support. To that aim, I have my MSW and am working towards my license in clinical social work with the hope to add mental health services to my offerings one day.
I currently live in LA, and have roots in Detroit.
